Simone Perolari was born in 1976, in Biella – Italy, he lives and works in Paris.

In the 2001 he started a work in progress entitled “Come in uno specchio”, now renamed “About us”. It is a reportage about the most important and prestigious international photographers.

In 2003 he become a full-time photojournalist and In 2008 he joined the Grazia Neri agency the year after, where he remained until the close the hystoric agency.

In 2005 and 2011 he traveled beihend the refugee in Italy and Spain, and in the following years followed the mouvement of migrants into Greece e France.

In the same year, he began a collaboration with Amnesty International. With Amnesty International he published two documentary projects entitled “Lampedusa: Ingresso vietato” and “Invisibili”. He realized a campaign entitled “Invisibili”, an awareness raising campaign for the rights of undocumented minors in detention centres.

Now He is implementing a project entitled UNWELCOME on refugees arriving in Europe.

He works with the portraits and story for M le monde, New York Times, Der Spiegel, Howler magazine, CNN, Sportweek Gazzetta dello sport, L'Equipe Magazine, Vanity Fair, Wired, Zeit, IOdonna Corriere della sera. Clients also include: Altair, Lavazza, Alstom, Altrad and Bipca, Logicor

In 2007 he collaborated with Grazia Neri (largest Italian photo agency). now 2010 his archive is syndicated by LUZ and Invision Images.
